255'D.I.S.C.O.' An exhibit using fresh flowers & foliage, width 2ft 6in/76cm.
256'Riverdance' An exhibit using fresh foliage and other natural material width, 2ft 6in/76cm.
257'Twinkle Toes' A petite exhibit using natural plant material not to exceed 10in/25cm width, depth, and height.
258'Swan Lake' A miniature exhibit using natural plant material not to exceed 4in/10cm width, depth, and height.
259'Highland Fling' An exhibit using natural plant material, width 1ft 6in/45cm. NOVICE CLASS
261'Line Dance' A modern exhibit featuring fresh foliage, width 1ft 6in/45cm. NOVICE CLASS
262'Can Can' An exhibit using fresh plant material. Open to pupils attending a Secondary School in 2024. Width not to exceed 2ft/60cm.
263'Cinderella” In a Shoe' An exhibit using fresh plant material. Open to pupils attending a Primary School in 2024. Width not to exceed 2ft/60cm.

Class 264: For Scottish Association of Young Farmers' Members
259- 261 NOVICE CLASSES: FOR FIRST OR SECOND TIME EXHIBITORS IN
THE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT SECTION AT TURRIFF SHOW AND
EXHIBITORS WHO HAVE NEVER WON A PRIZE IN THE NOVICE
SECTION.

Exhibit
Is composed of natural plant material in all its forms, with or without
accessories, contained within a space as specified in a show schedule.
Backgrounds, bases, containers, drapes, exhibit titles and mechanics may
also be included in an exhibit, unless otherwise stated. More than one
placement may be included, unless otherwise stated. In all exhibits natural
plant material must be predominant.

Accessories
Anything other than natural plant material in an exhibit such as feathers,
shapes [e.g. spheres, cones) shells, stones, wax candles. Should be in
pristine condition. Be in harmony with the rest of the exhibit. Make a valid
contribution to the interpretation of the class title and the design. Be in scale
with all the other components in the exhibit and with each other. Be well
incorporated and not predominate over the plant material.

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR SECTION 19:
1. Exhibits can be staged in the Industrial Section of the Marquee from 5pm on Saturday 3rd to 9.30am on Sunday 4th August 2024.
2. Please enclose name and address within an envelope and place envelope on the bottom left corner of the exhibit.
3. All Flower Arrangement entries must be made on the Entry Schedule, signed by the intending Exhibitor and returned to the Secretary not later than Saturday 6th July 2024.
