Jars and Bottles to have a label with name, date and year of preserve and attach exhibitor label with a rubber band PRESERVING HINT: Preserves should be filled well allowing only a small air space. Wax disc placed while still warm. Cellophane covers to be taut. Chutneys to be made at least three months ahead of judging and should be fitted with a candle or beeswax disc and covered with cellophane or vinegar proof lid.
