Classes 209, 210 and 211. Classes 201 to 211 are for standard Shetland Ponies only.

210. Young Handlers, for children aged 10 years old and under on the day of the Show.
211. Young Handlers, for children aged 11-14 years on the day of the Show.
RULES
1. Classes must be confined to registered ponies. Ponies must be named on the
entry form. Society rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the
Society or eligible for registration (i.e. foals).
2. 3 year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum
of 3 weeks old on the day of the Show.
3. There must be no colts or stallions in Young Handlers classes. Children under
14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or stallions in In-hand
classes. Children under 11 years old may not show stallions in ridden classes.
In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years
or under in In-hand classes. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective
of age, in the ridden class. In the ridden class, if a rider falls off at any time
whilst in the Ring, both pony and rider must leave the Ring, rider dismounted,
and take no further part.
NPS Scotland/Scottish Farmer - Scottish Horse In Hand Mountain & Moorland
Championship.
The In Hand Champion & Reserve Champion Shetland Pony from classes 201-208
will qualify for the Final, which will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse
Trials on Friday 23rd August, 2013. Qualification may go to third in the Championship
(ie First Reserve Champion).
NPS Scotland/Baileys Horse Feeds Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland
Championship.
The 2 highest placed ponies not already qualified in class 209 (off the lead rein) will
qualify for the final which will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials
on Friday, 23rd August, 2013. Qualifications to go no lower than sixth place.
