| Entry Money - Members £2, Non-Members £4 per Entry Exhibitors restricted to two entries per class Prize Money: 1st £60; 2nd £50; 3rd £40; 4th £30; 5th £20; 6th £10 Class 310. Pair of Butchers' Lambs (any breed or cross), to be judged on Hook. Weight of individual carcase up to 21kgs. 311. Pair of Butchers' Lambs (any breed or cross), to be judged on Hook. Weight of individual carcase over 21kgs. (Please state breed of sire on entry form). SPECIAL PRIZES CHAMPION PRIZE, presented by Stuart Stephen, Esq., President of the Association for the Best Overall Entry in the Butchers' Lambs Section. Perpetual Championship Trophy presented to the Best Overall Entry. McKay, Deans and Barnes Trophy represented to Turriff Show for Reserve Best Pair of Carcases. The Suffolk Sheep Society Shield represented to Turriff Show for Best Pair of Carcases from lambs sired by a Suffolk ram. PLEASE NOTE Butchers' Lambs entries are to be taken direct to Woodhead Brothers, Turriff, on the afternoon of Thursday, 1st August, 2013 from 3pm-8pm. The animals will then be slaughtered on the Friday and the carcases judged and placed in order of merit. Exhibitors are invited to inspect the carcases at Woodhead Brothers, Turriff on Saturday, 3rd August from 10.00 am-12 noon. Winners will be presented with their prizes at Turriff Show on Monday, 5th August, 2013 immediately after the Grand Parade of Livestock. |
