Colt, Filly or Gelding, 2 or 3 years old, not to exceed 153cms (15hh) at maturity. NPS Scotland/NFU Mutual Open In-hand Riding Pony/Hunter Pony Championship. The highest placed pony, in each open in-hand Riding Pony or Hunter Pony Class (foal classes excluded) not already qualified, will qualify for the Final which will take place at the Blair castle International Horse Trials on Friday, 22nd August 2014. Qualifications to go no lower than sixth place. Please note ponies in this Section should preferably be platted up. NPS/Bankswood Stud Show Hunter Pony In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship This Championship is for youngstock, stallions, mares and geldings, not exceeding 153cms at maturity, registered in the NPS British Riding Pony Stud Book, Register, Appendix, International or Sports Pony section of the BRPSB; the GSB, the AHSB, the AASB or registered in the main body of their respective Mountain & Moorland stud books, which have won their NPS affiliated Show Hunter Pony in Hand class at the qualifying show. Foals are not eligible for this Championship. Part breds are not eligible unless entered in the NPS British Riding Pony Stud Book, Register, Appendix, International or Sports Pony section of the BRPSB. SPECIAL PRIZES CHAMPION PRIZE - Commemorative 150th Anniversary Medal presented by the Association for the Best Hunter Pony. The Association presents a Perpetual Cup to the Champion. The Association presents £50 to the exhibitor of the Champion Pony. Ardmore Distillery presents a miniature of Ardmore Traditional Cask (in a tube) and a miniature of Teacher's Highland Cream to the Champion in this Section. |
