Diamond Veteran (25 years and over), In-Hand. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. 197. Veteran (20-24 years), In-Hand. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. 198. Pre-Veteran (15-19 years), In-Hand. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. 37 Class 199. Diamond Veteran (25 years and over), Ridden. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. 200. Veteran (20-24 years), Ridden. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. 201. Pre-Veteran (15-19 years), Ridden. Open to horses and ponies any breed or height, this class will incorporate qualifiers for the VHS Regional Finals and National Veteran Championship. Veteran Horse Society Scottish Veteran Horse of the Year 2015 Qualifier The Veteran Horse Society Scottish Showing Series kindly sponsored by Allen & Page Quality Horse Feeds. Qualifiers are open to both Members and Non Members of the Veteran Horse Society. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the VHS, they can be found at www.veteran-horse-society.co.uk. The Overall Champion and Reserve Champion Veteran will go forward to the Supreme Scottish Final on 14th October, 2015. Please note: all competitors must be VHS Members to gain the qualifying card. • No galloping or spurs are permitted in the ring. • Basic walk, trot and canter. • Mark system will be generally: condition and movement in relation to age and turnout. • Stallion handler or rider must be over 16 years. • Turnout in accordance with breed. • All competitors must be compliant with VHS rules and regulations. • Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation. • The same veteran and handler / rider combination must carry qualification. No exchange of horse or rider is accepted. The Overall Veteran Champion and Reserve Champion will go on to compete at the Veteran Horse Society Scottish Veteran Horse of the Year 2015. Second Reserve on standby. SPECIAL PRIZES CHAMPION PRIZE - A Champion Medal will be presented by the Association for the Best Veteran Horse or Pony in the Show. The Association presents a Perpetual Cup to the Champion in this Section. The Association presents £50 to the exhibitor of the Champion Animal. Ardmore Distillery presents miniatures of Ardmore Traditional Cask (in a tube) and Teacher's Highland Cream to the Champion in this Section. Perpetual Trophy for Best Veteran In-Hand presented by M.
