All exhibitors in Classes 221 and 222 will receive a Rosette.
Please note that ponies can only be entered in one class with the exception of
Classes 220, 221 and 222. Classes 212 to 222 are for standard Shetland Ponies only.
Judging to start at 8.30 a.m.

222. Young Handlers, for children aged 11-16 years on the day of the Show.

RULES
1. Classes must be confined to registered ponies. Ponies must be named on the entry form. Society rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the
Society or eligible for registration (i.e. foals).
2. 3 year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of 3 weeks old on the day of the Show.
3. There must be no colts or stallions in Young Handlers classes. Children under
14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or stallions in In-hand
classes. Children under 11 years old may not show stallions in ridden classes.
In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years
or under in In-hand classes. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective of age, in the ridden class. In the ridden class, if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the Ring, both pony and rider must leave the Ring, rider dismounted,and take no further part.

Championship.
The In Hand Champion & Reserve Champion Shetland Pony from classes 212-219 will qualify for the Final, which will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials on Friday 25th August, 2017. Qualification may go to third in the Championship (ie First Reserve Champion).
NPS Scotland/Baileys Horse Feeds Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland
Championship.
The 2 highest placed ponies not already qualified in class 220 (off the lead rein) will qualify for the final which will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials on Friday, 25th August, 2017. Qualifications to go no lower than 4th place.
