ENTRIES CLOSE: MONDAY 15th JULY 2024 (No entries can be accepted on the Day for Classes 3,4, & 5 as per British Showjumping Rules) Course available for walking from 7.30am - Exhibitors must be ready for starting time of 8.00am All Exhibitors will Have a £1 First Aid Levy Charge For Full Entry Rules & Regulations visit the Turriff Show website https://www.turriffshow.org/show-schedules/Livestock OR Side Panel Link RULES 1.All owners and riders (and where applicable parents or guardians), of horses and ponies competing in any show jumping competition in this Show shall be deemed to be subject to the rules of the British Show Jumping Association (2024 Edition). 2.Horse and Pony passports must be available for inspection by officials on request. 3.Competitors and others are recommended to make themselves acquaint with such traffic regulations as may be passed by the Magistrates. These regulations will be duly advertised and prominently signposted throughout the showground. 4.Events are timetabled according to the Sports Schedule however, the Management Committee reserve the right to alter or cancel any of the events if necessary and will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused in the field. Competitors must observe the progress of the events and be ready to enter the Showring in time for their competition. Any competitor neglecting to observe this will lose the chance of competing. Events will not be held up. 5.Competitors must abide by the decision of the Official Measurer. 6.Horses will convene in the ring at the West end of the Sports Arena and have their numbers attached. 7.There will be no allowance for practising riding either inside or outside the Showring except in the Competition. Competitors attempting such will be disqualified. 8.The overuse of whips by riders on their mounts or causing any obstruction whatsoever to the competitors will be disqualified immediately. 9.The Sports events will commence at 8.00am on Monday. Course will be available for walking at 7.30am. Competitors will enter and leave by the gates at the West side of the Showring. 10.Only Judges, Stewards, their Assistants, Attending Members and Officials are allowed in the showring. 11.All competitors and animals taking part in the competitions do so at their own risk. 12.All competitors must co-operate with the organisers in compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and do all that is practicable to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of those attending. All exhibitors and attendants must ensure that they conduct themselves in a manner so that they do not put themselves or anyone else at risk. 13.The Judge's decision is final in all events. On behalf of Turriff District Agricultural Association I must ask that Competitors in all events co-operate fully with the requirements of this Sports Schedule and in particular be prepared to enter the showring or performance area immediately when they are called. |
